Cell Phone Lookup: Facts And Pointers

Custom Search

Concerned about who is talking or texting your son or  daughter on those late night cell phone calls?  Or for your partner or spouse have they been receiving a lot of new unexplained calls at all hours.  Everyone knows it s important to monitor children and teenage internet activity to protect them.  But if a predator obtained your son or daughters cell phone number, or your significant others actions are driving you nuts with concern and curiosity, their is a simple answer. When the phone you want to is left alone for awhile,  look at the history of calls received/made jot down the unknown numbers you see. When you have a cell phone service, your bill will show in addition all numbers that were called out.. You then can use a cell phone number lookup directory to look up information on the unknown numbers you have written down.

You type the telephone number into the site’s search box to receive information about the number. The service can tell you if they have a information on the number in their database. They can give you an initial description of some of the facts on the number such as user name and general location.

If what you find looks like its worth paying for then at that point you can pay to obtain the entire record.  Most services allow you to pay a fee for a individual search (around the cost of a couple McDonald’s meals) or if you have multiple numbers to search for you can pay a slightly higher fee for multiple or unlimited records search..

Depending on the site’s database some of the information that can be pulled out after subscribing includes the following::

The owner of the cell phone.
Billing address
A map of the above billing address
Who provides the service for the cell phone (Verizon, AT&T, others…)
If there are any other associated numbers with this phone.
Relatives or relations of the cell phone owner
Previous know addresses

A caution before using a service: don’t use an online reverse cell phones search service that will bill you without telling what records your subscription will get you.  Especially do not use any telephone number search service that requires to disclose full personal records or sensitive information.   Online sites like this are data gathering sites that grab your information and then sell it for the highest bidder or use the information for identity theft. A established site will have a disclosure and a refund policy if the records in the database are wrong or inaccurate..

Sites which supposedly provide this information “free” are often scams or illegitimate. Many websites claim to provide this information  without costs but that is not true for obvious reasons.  How could they be giving you the numbers for free,  when they would be paying  money to the cell phone providers to obtain the data.  Unlike land lines cell phone numbers are unpublished records not obtained through public records.  Cell companies do not have to provide numbers to anyone so they charge for access to provide those numbers to any company that requests that information. A genuine reverse directory site must charge you for the price of accessing the numbers and related records.
